Tuition Q&A

This tuition increase is due to facility costs rising exponentially, currently scheduled to be five times higher than in years past.

Yes; CET has been negotiating since February 2024 to try to keep facility costs down.

Yes; the CET board has explored private schools, colleges, and other public school districts in the area.

CET has closely reviewed our budget to cut non-essential operational costs in every area possible. Staffing and facilities are our largest and most important expenses.

Yes; the CET Board of Directors has taken steps to increase our revenue streams outside of tuition. Between 2024 and 2025, CET increased advertising, sponsorships, donations, and grants. All that is still not enough to keep up with the increasing facility costs.

No, all CET students will have the same opportunities to fully engage in the program. Please choose the amount that works best for your family. Your family's choice will remain private.

  1. Donate. The full cost for each student to participate in CET is $1,475. Every donation helps us provide an amazing experience for children. Donate here.
  2. Ask businesses that you think would support the mission of CET to become sponsors. We have many levels of sponsorships, starting at $300. If you know of a business that is interested and would like a board member to contact them, please share that information with our Sponsorship chair at ashleycasebeer@cetsalem.org.
  3. Attend our fundraising events. Upcoming events at the Pentacle Theatre are Something Rotten on March 25, and Catch Me If You Can on September 2. Looking ahead to 2027, we are excited to announce a new annual fundraiser: Festival of Follies on April 3.
